About This Experience

Chapultepec Castle is the only castle in North America that has housed sovereigns: it was the residence of emperors Maximilian I and Charlotte, and later, home to Mexican presidents. Perched atop Chapultepec Hill at 2,325 meters above sea level, it offers an unmatched panoramic view of Mexico City. Today it is home to the National Museum of History, where you can see the famous murals by Siqueiros and O'Gorman, imperial carriages, crown jewels, and objects that narrate centuries of Mexican history from the Conquest to the Revolution. A destination that blends history, art, and nature in one place.
