Puebla Cathedral, Historic Center & Cholula Tour
About This Experience
The Historic Center of Puebla is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful and well-preserved colonial architectural complexes in America. The Puebla Cathedral, with its twin towers that are the tallest in Mexico, dominates the downtown plaza with incomparable majesty. But Puebla is much more than its cathedral: it is the city of mole poblano, chiles en nogada, colorful talavera pottery, the artists' neighborhood, and tile-covered palaces. Walking through its cobbled streets is like traveling back to 16th-century viceroyal Mexico. And if you are a food lover, Puebla is simply the culinary capital of Mexico. Important note: The Palafoxiana Library is temporarily closed for maintenance. Instead, the visit will include the Amparo Museum or the Museum of the Dolls (Museo Casa de los Muñecos).
